Before launching his career as a writer, Nick Hilden (like so many other writers) spent nearly a decade in the food and drink industry. Whether bartending at a world-class resort, slinging food and drinks a low-class dive, managing a small town brewery, or working the door at a music venue – and just about everything in between – Nick knows his way around a bar. Since trading the
cocktail shaker for the pen, his work has appeared in publications such as Vice, the LA Times, Thrillist, Global Living Magazine, and many more. While he hails from the Pacific Northwest, Nick has traveled and lived all around the globe, and his work has varied accordingly. His favorite drink is a gin and Campari (no sweet vermouth, thanks).
